Full circle.
10 months ago the journey began. Taylah + Ojaey were expecting their first baby and asked me to take their announcement photos. They picked the tall pine trees and lakeside views of Pizzey Park as the canvas for their announcement. A normally beautiful setting, proved to be quite the challenge as the weather decided to “bless” us with relentless rain. But after much perseverance the sky cleared for long enough to get the shots that would deliver the news of a baby on the way.
Months later, I met up with Taylah once again to take her maternity photos. Like last time, we were “blessed” with rain. This time, off and on with a beautiful rainbow between each downpour.
The circle recently completed itself, this time the only blessing was sweet baby Lincoln. After taking a few photos in their home, we ventured back to where it all began, Pizzey Park. This was the first time I had captured newborn photos outdoors, and now I only wish I had done it sooner.
Lincoln was a super star during his session, barely fussing despite the heat. His mum, a fellow photographer, truly did birth the perfect baby model.
Ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes. A sweet little blessing and new chapter for Taylah + Ojaey.
