Chloe + Harry’s Wedding at Western Ridge

There’s something incredibly special about photographing people you’ve watched move through different seasons of life.

When Chloe and Harry first stepped in front of my camera, it was completely by chance. They snapped up a last-minute Highland Cow Mini Session, and none of us could have known that it would be the first of many memories we’d create together. Since then, I’ve photographed them at Christmas, their engagement photos, and now, one of the most important days of their lives – their wedding.

Being trusted to document every chapter is something I’ll never take for granted.

A Beautiful Wedding at Western Ridge

Set amongst the rolling hills of the Scenic Rim, Western Ridge provided the most beautiful backdrop for Chloe and Harry’s wedding day. With sweeping views, wide open spaces and the kind of golden light photographers dream about, it was the perfect setting for a celebration of their love.

One of the things I loved most about their day was how intentional everything felt. The petals that the flower girls scattered down the aisle, were preserved from every bunch of flowers Harry had gifted Chloe throughout their relationship. The entrance to the reception displayed a beautiful arch with photos of the wedding days of their own guests. There were so many moments that felt so full of thought and love.

Why Western Ridge is Such a Beautiful Wedding Venue

If you’re planning a wedding in South East Queensland, Western Ridge is one of those venues that truly has it all.

From panoramic countryside views to stunning ceremony locations and incredible sunsets, it offers endless opportunities for timeless wedding photographs while allowing couples to enjoy a relaxed celebration surrounded by nature.

Whether you’re planning an intimate wedding or celebrating with your favourite people, it’s easy to see why so many couples fall in love with this venue.

As a photographer, it’s a venue I would recommend to all my couples who are chasing those panoramic views and the perfect canvas to make their own.

Relaxed Wedding Photography That Feels Like You

My approach to wedding photography has always been simple: I want you to experience your wedding day, not spend it posing for hours.

The best photographs happen when you’re fully present.

I’ll gently guide you when you need it, but most of the day is spent documenting the genuine moments as they naturally unfold, creating timeless images that will take you right back to how your wedding day felt.

Of course, we’ll go off and take your portraits. But you don’t need to allocate hours for this. 30 minutes was plenty for Chloe and Harry.
